Authentic Iced matcha oat milk latte made at home

Things to prepare

● 1 matcha stick (2g)

● 20 ml of 80℃/176°F Hot water

● 80 ml oz Oats milk *

*Of course, dairy milk or other plant-based milks can be substituted.


● Chasen / Tea whisk

● Matcha bowl or soup mug (Wide-mouthed and deep vessel)

● Glass

● Ice cube

Step 1:


Place 1 matcha stick (2g matcha) in the matcha bowl.

Step 2:


Pour 20 ml of 80° hot water into a matcha bowl.

Step 3:


Whisk well with Chasen for about 20 seconds to make matcha.


If you wish to add sweetness, add it when matcha is well mixed.

Step 4:


Fill a glass full of ice with 80 ml of oat milk and pour over the top with step 3 matcha, and you have an authentic matcha latte!

Key points:


1) Shift the matcha through a tea strainer to avoid lumps and make it smoother to the palate.


2)Use a syrup that is as natural and low in viscosity as possible. Sugarcane syrup is recommended.
