The taste and aroma of matcha is very delicate and easily lost.
We will provide two tips on how to enjoy matcha while keeping it fresh and tasty.
1. Consume as soon as possible
The expiration date for Matcha is the date on the unopened package.
Our products are specially filled with nitrogen for the purpose of maintaining the quality of matcha powder.
Once opened, it should be consumed as soon as possible.
2. The date of opening
It is at least 30 days after opening the package, where it can be aired and stored in a dark place at room temperature to maintain its quality.
The date of opening should be recorded.
3.Storage in a cool, dark place
Matcha is sensitive to light, temperature and humidity changes, and easily oxidizes when exposed to air.
It should be stored in cool, dark places in an airtight, light-shielded container.
<NOTE>
For longer periods of storage (>1 month), it can be stored in the refrigerator.
However, in that case, if you open a lid immediately after taking the container out of the fridge, the matcha will absorb moisture due to condensation inside.
Bring the container back to room temperature before opening the rid to use the matcha.
