Things to prepare
● 2g Ceremonial grade matcha
● 120ml / hot water
● Matcha bowl
● Chasen / Tea whisk
Step 1:
Place 2 g of matcha in a matcha bowl and pour 120 ml of hot water into the bowl.
A water temperature of 70-80°C is recommended.
Boiling water can be cooled down.
※Strain the matcha through a tea strainer if available.
Step 2:
First, warm the tip of the Chasen slightly with hot water before using it.
Whisk the matcha in the tea bowl well and quickly.
Whisk the tip of the Chasen in a W shape instead of turning It.
Step 3:
When fine froth forms over the entire surface, as shown in the picture, the delicious matcha is ready to drink.
